We've heard (and experienced!) lots of reasons for not going to Mass. But, guess what? Not one of them is good enough to give up on the wonder, unity, and power of the Mass experience.

The following are in no particular order. If you have a different reason, let us know. We'll tackle it!

• Don't have time
• There is no Church close to me
• I have no transportation
• Mass is boring
• I don't like the:
  • priest
  • staff
  • other parishioners
• The bishop/priest/staff/other parishioners
  • are hypocrites
  • ignored me
  • did not make me feel welcome
• The music is lousy
• The scandals drove me away
• It's difficult to believe in the
  • Virgin birth
  • Resurrection
  • Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist
• My spouse/kids won't go with me
• I'm a single parent
• I can get what I need from communing with God in nature
• Sunday is the only day I get to sleep in
• I work on weekends
• My kids misbehave and it gets too embarrassing/exhausting/unrewarding
• My favorite sporting events are scheduled at the same time
• I'm usually too tired/hung over
• My spouse/kids are out of town
• I'm out of town
• The family is out of town
• It's just one more day to make everyone presentable
• I feel obligated to give money which I don't have
